Sande Mule'

Miss Sande has been a proud dance teacher for 52 years. She started at the age of 6 taking lesson from Mary Papa in Hamilton, NJ. There at the age of 14, she received a scholarship to the Robert Joffery School of Ballet in New York City. During that time, she also studied at Luigi’s Jazz Centre and took tap lessons with Bob Audy. Miss Sande was in the Princeton Ballet Company taught by the legendary, Audree Estee and was in many performances, including The Nutcracker. Also at that time,  Miss Sande performed as a dancer in many musicals with the Pennington Players. She continued to perform and take lesson in New York City. There she was a part of the Radio City Ballet Company in 1967. At the age of 16, Miss Sande opened her own dance studio, Sande Mule' School of Dance, in Trenton, NJ. In 1989, she moved her dance studio to The Village of Newtown and renamed it to what we now know as the Sande Mule' Dance Academy (SMDA). In 1998, Miss Sande moved her studio to where it now resides in the Anchor Crossing Village in Wrightstown, PA. She is a member of Dance Masters of America, Dance Educators of America, and is a member of the Professional Dance Teachers Association of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Miss Sande, along with her excellent qualified teaching staff, strive to create an atmosphere where young dancers can realize their full potential and has been recognized as one of Bucks County’s finest dance studios.

Kel Werner-Vallery 
Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, & Contemporary

 

Kel Werner-Vallery received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Rider University.  She was a Mildred C. Hawkins scholarship recipient for her merit in dance and graduated summa cum laude.  While at Rider, she participated in the Rider University/Princeton Ballet School Dance Program and has performed with American Repertory Ballet, Rider Dances and Mercer Dance Ensemble.  Since graduation she has taught many forms of dance at numerous studios and for multiple dance companies throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.  She has been teaching ballet, pointe, lyrical and contemporary at SMDA since 2014.  Through her teaching positions, she has also gained Stage Managing experience with American Repertory Ballet and Princeton Ballet School.  As a freelance performer and choreographer, she has danced with Artistic Visions Dance Company in central NJ, Jill Molinaro Dance Company in NYC, and had been featured in American Repertory Ballet's The Nutcracker. In addition to dance, Kel works full-time for Accenture as a logistics specialist.  She is currently pursuing her Master's in Business from University of Maryland Global Campus.  In her spare time, she enjoys competing in a curling league with her husband, Adam.

Maria DeLuca
Combo, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pre- Pointe, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, & Hip Hop

 

Maria DeLuca has been dancing since the age of three with Miss Sande. She has been trained in all styles of dance but specializes in lyrical, contemporary, ballet, jazz and hip-hop. After graduating from Council Rock North, she went on to attend John Jay College in NYC. She continued her dance studies and was a professional dancer with Sea-World Parks and Entertainment (Sesame Place)for 5 years. While in New York, she studied dance at Broadway Dance Center and was offered a position as Contemporary Coordinator of the renowned dance organization “Universal Image”. Maria continues to strive for excellence by keeping up to date with dance trends and new teaching tactics.
